AI, DATA CENTER AND EMOBILITY
STANDARDS SYMPOSIUM
JUNE 17, 2025, 8 AM-5 PM
FAIRFIELD INN AND SUITES, 656 AMERICA CENTER CT, SAN JOSE, CA

Ensuring the Safety, Security, Quality and Reliability for the Future of AI, Data Centers, EVs and AVs
8-8:40 AM
KEYNOTE ADDRESS

Chad Kymal, Omnex CTO/Founder
The surge in demands for AI and Data center technologies calls for standardization to best practices. ISO 42001 (AI Management System) was released in 2023 and ANSI/TIA-942 rev C was published in 2024 with this purpose. Chad will raise the awareness of these latest standard to help organizations conform to best practices. Equally crucial to these technologies are Cybersecurity standards ISO 27001 and SCS 9001.
MORNING
AI AND DATA CENTERS
8:40-9:20
Antony John, VP Operations, Omnex Systems

Digitalization and AI Tools for eMobility Standards
The rise of EV and AVs led to the emergence of various standards - ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO21434 and ISO 21448 SOTIF. As companies rushed to achieve conformance, legacy tools became slow and insufficient. An enterprise suite powered by AI will be introduced for unprecedented speed and efficiency.
9:20-9:50
Yuri Mitnick, H/W Engineering Technical Leader, Cisco

Data Center Quality and Reliability
Data centers impose stringent quality and reliability and fast time to quality requirements for HPC and networking systems. In this session, we will review challenges in component and system development for data centers and address solutions.
9:50-10:20
Mike Regan,VP Business Performance, Telecom Industry Association

An introduction to TIA Quality and Security Management Systems and their application to modern data centers
TIA, the Trusted Industry Association, has a mission of securing global networks. Through the contributions of our ICT industry subject matter experts, we have developed a catalog of standards for the network operators and their suppliers. In this session, our standards with use cases and applications for modern data centers will be introduced with an overview of their capabilities and the advantages gained by adopters.

LiDARS: Solving the Functional Safety, Quality and Reliability Dilemma
LiDARs are now globally recognized as an integral part of the sensor fusion for autonomous vehicles. Diligence in quality, reliability and functional safety is therefore imperative given the complexity and the inherent risk of new technologies that have emerged. Achieving ISO 26262 ASIL D remains a challenge for LiDARs. A viable path to the achievement of this required ASIL will be discussed.
